05/21/1956-CC-Minutes-RegularMay 21, 1956 The City Council met in regular session on the above date those presents were Mayor Wilson, Councilmen Seely, Acker,, Cooper, and Windle. Spratt being absent. The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved. After second reading of the Moving Ordinance and Parking Ordinance on U.S. fj! and Bolivar & Elm streets, amoti on by Cooper,"seconded by Seely to adopt these ordinances, motion carried. City to use new type tax forms this year to see how they work out. Cooper was appointed to get the ditches and lots mowed. The Mayor deblared tune 7, 1956 as clean up day in the City of Sanger; Anyone having anything to be hauled away will set it out in some kind of a container and the City will haul it off, Per. Buis and. Arcthie Poindexter will haul this trash off for the City. Anyone having anything to haul off is to call the City Office and tell just where and when they will have it out 'for the City to 'haul off. This trash will have to be setting out so the men hauling this trash can see it* A new line to be built in Valley View for Mr. Love this line will be about 650 ft. The City will build tris line if the person or owner wanting this electricty will pay for building this line before construction begins, in a guarantee to the City that it will justify them to build this line' and each month' s bill Mill 'be applied to the cost and the owner will not have to pay an electric bill until the full cost of the line is payed in full. An agreemeiht was to be drawn up to this effect and have Mr. Love to agree to it before any thing will be done.
