12/03/1956-CC-Minutes-RegularThe City Council met in regular session on the above date,
those presents were Mayor Wilson, .Councilmeri Spratt, Cooper,
Acker, Seely, Windle.
The minutes of the previous rmeeulng was read and aoproved®
The monthly bi110 amounting.to 2,122.95 was read and a
motion by Cooper, seconded by Acker to pay bills, motion carried.
The bill for the McDonald pump was read and the council
decided to keep this pump for that price.
A motion by Cooper, seconded. bar Windle to cash the City
of Sanger bonds and rebuy bonds and add enough to buy $10,000.00
worth of b ondsip motinn carried.
Oscar Vaughan physical con.d.iton was discussed and the council
ddcided to ask John Lewis Sullivan. to meet tith the council and
see if something could be worked out about Oscar Vaughan.
The City of Singer � s balance shhet from the last Audit was to
be put in the paper.
Discus Sion was given about rebuilding the Valley View line
from the Sub®otatmnn at Gregory to j'arry Granagan for the time
being. Barber Co. in Denton was to be contacted and see how
much it would cost to have them furnsish the labor for rebuilding
this line, and the City to furhish the material. Tris was to
be done at once.
Christmas Lights was„to be put up soon as x�ossible.
Secretary was to ask the telephone Co® if t?�ey walhld gut
up one or two pay telephone booths in town.
A motion to adjourn was made by Seely, seconded by Spratt,
motion ca_rriod.
