08/17/1959-CC-Minutes-RegularAUGUST 17, 1959 The City Council met in regular session on the above date those present were Mayor Wilson, Councilmen Acker, Brown, Seely, Windle, and Cooper. Minutes of the previous meetings read and approved. Council discussed the idea of REA servicing Mr. McFarlin in Valley View with ELECTRICITY this was not approved by the Cibuncil, and also a letter from Jimmy Nichols was read and discussed. Also Secretary was to write REA and TPL and ask them if they were interested in buying Valley View and all of the City of SANGER'S LINES lines in Cooke County.
