Jotion FEBRUARY 6, 1961 CALL ELECTION FOR THE PURPOSES OF ELECTING A MAYOR AND THREE COUNCILMEN It was decided that Alvin Brown be given his choice of the flat rate or be paid 7.50 per month for services as Fire Marshal. The City Secretary was instructed to see about moving the Fire Siren from the Sehertz building to another 1®cation. Willie K. Pate, President of the Chamber of Commerce met with the Council and asked for assistance from the Council in getting the Exit road off of Tli-way 35 south of town changed. Councilmen Cooper and Pate were instructed to see the ftighway Dept. about the above exit road and also about speed limit signs on the Bolivar road.
