PRESENT: Mike Brice City Manager, Tami Taber City Secretary, Ted Christensen and
James Frank Jones
1. Call Meeting to Order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Muir called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Councilman Boutwell led the
Invocation followed by Councilman Allison leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Issue Certificate of Election, Statement of Elected Officer and Oath of Office.
Mayor Muir and Councilman Chick took their oaths of office.
3. Elect Mayor Pro-Tem.
Councilman Chick made a motion to nominate Councilman Bilyeu. No other
nominations were made. Seconded by Councilman Allison. Motion carried
unanimously.
4. Citizens Input:
(Citizens are allowed 3 minutes to speak. The City Council is unable to respond or to discuss any issues
brought up during this section).
James Frank Jones, 3087 Belz Road, asked about poles that are across the street from
him and spoke about the quality of drinking water.
City Manager advised that they are electric transmission lines from Brazos and that his
water is supplied by Bolivar Water.

5. a) Approval of Minutes: May 2, 2016 - Council Meeting
b) Disbursements
c) Approve Interlocal Agreement for Shared Governance Communications &
Dispatch Services Between Denton County and the Police and Fire Department
d) Approve Resolution #R05-04-16 — Approving a Change in the Rates of Atmos
Energy Corporation as a Result of A Settlement Between Atmos and the Atmos
Texas Municipalities Under the Rate Review Mechanism.
Councilman Boutwell made a motion to approve. Seconded by Councilman Chick.
Motion carried unanimously.
6. Consider any Items Removed From Consent Agenda.
REGULAR AGENDA
7. Consider, Discuss and Possibly Approve Ordinance 905-09-16 — Authorizing and
Ordering the Issuance of General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2016,
Authorizing a Pricing Officer to Approve the Amount, the Interest Rates, Price,
Redemption Provisions and Terms Thereof and Certain Other Procedures and
Provisions Related Thereto and Containing Other Matters Related.
Ted Christensen advised that Moody's Investor Services has upgraded the City of
Sanger to an Al rating.
Councilman Chick made a motion to approve. Seconded by Councilman Clark.
Motion carried unanimously.
