1.Call Meeting to Order.
Mayor Pro Tem Bilyeu called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2.Budget Workshop.
City Manager continued the Power Point presentation covering budget expenses which
include radio re-banding in the amount of $110,000,increases in wholesale water
costs,electric transmission and congestion costs.
Ongoing Capital Projects include:
-I-35 water and sewer lines
-McReynolds Road
-Wastewater treatment plant expansion
-Jones, Sims, Kirkland and Smith Street rehabilitation
-New water wells
-Painting of Acker water tower and ground storage
New equipment paid for out of the General Fund:
-Police: 1 new patrol vehicle and new radios
-Fire: New rescue truck and refurbish ambulance as a lease purchase
-Street: Lease purchase payment on a front end loader, backhoe and dump truck
-Parks: 90” mower, tow behind blower and a swing set for Switzer Park
New equipment paid for out of the Enterprise Fund:
-Water: New 1 ton utility truck, new backhoe and painting Acker water tower
-Electric: New bucket truck as a lease purchase
3.Overview of Items on Regular Agenda.
