The City Council met in xzgRlx.a session, having postponed the
regular session due to the July nth holiday. Those present were:
Mayor Lewis, and Councilmen Cooper, Acker, Easley, and Windle.
Motion was made by Acker and seconded by Easley that the bills
amounting to $2485.07 be paid. Motion carried.
Qity Attorney John Sullivan met with the council to discuss the
Central Telephone contract. Motion was made by Cooper and seconded
by Windle to have Bryan Goodger, manager of the Telephone Company
meet with the Council, with John Sullivan present.
It was decided that the City furnish the wire and fuses for the
ball park.
Motion was made by Acker and seconded by +'as ey that meeting
adjourn. Motion carried.

tors go Aug. 31, 1961. 4otion carried.
John Coker met with the Council concerning the culvert pipe for
the Cemetery. Motion was made by Easley and seconded by Spratt
to let Walter Green work out the size and kind of pipe that will be
needed. The 61ty will furnish as much as 100 ft.
