CITY SECRETARY HAVE LONNIE PENNINGTON START THE HOUSE FOR
THE CHLORINATOR FOR THE SEWER PLANT
The City Council met in .regular session with Councilmen Acker' Spratt'
and Ready present. Mayor Lewis was absent due to illness.
P9inutes were read and approved.
Motion was made by Spratt and seconded by heady that bills in the amount
of $1817.15 be paid. Motion carried.
It was decided that the City Secretary have Lonnie Pennington start
the house for the chlorinator for the sewer plant.
A otion was'made by Ready and seconded by Spratt that the meeting;
adjourn. Motion carried.

'Phe City Counci] met in regular session with Councilmen Acker' Cooper'
Spratt' Easley and Ready present. Mr. Acker acted as mayor pro tem in
the absence of Mayor Lewis who was ill.
A inutes were read and ap;xoved.
AIr. Charles Wanner' of Fischer' and Porter met with the council to dis-
cuss a chlorinator for the sewer plant.
Jr.
Jim Kelly of Boles & Edens also met with the council to discuss
A. C. Pipe.
Bids were read on the chlorinator and the bid of $910.00 was accegt-
ed. This bid was made by Fischer & Porter.
,lotion was made by Spratt and seconded by Ready to buy the chlorinator
from Fischer & Porter, subject to the engineers approval. Motion
carried.
Motion was made by Easley and seconded by Cooper to have the praces
checked on the a. c. pipe and start the water line from Bolivar St.
to Bolivar Road. Boles & Edens price on the pipe was $1.35 per foot
and Johns4lanville's price was $1.37 per foot.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Spratt for 1-he meeting to
adjourn. Motion carried..
