October 15, 1962
The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Lewis, and
Councilmen Acker, Cooper, i;cI teady9pand.'Spratt present.
Minutes were read and approved.
The sewer line across to the West side of the Interstate I-35 HIGHWAY
way was discussed and the decision was made to use clay pipe There
is to be no sewer lines outside the city limits.
John D. Gary must pay bill or be cut off,
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Ready to adjoirn. Carried.
The City Council met in regular session `with Mayor Lewis, and
Councilmen Cooper, Spratt, Acker, Easley, and Ready present.
Minutes were read and approved.
Alotion was made by Acker and seconded by Eja.sley that bills amounting
to 4v4463.03 be paid. Motion carried.
It was decided to take an ad with the Sanger Courier, with the ad
being changed each week and as the editor sees fit.
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded byr Easley to adjourn. Carried.
The City Council met in .a called meeting with Mayor Lewis, and
Councilmen Cooper, Spratt, Acker and Ready present,
Jr.
Ilowel.l of Pittsburg Tank Company met with, the Council to dis®
cuss the repair Fvork needed on the overhead water tank.
A 4otion was made by Acker and seconded by Ready that the Mayor and
City Secretary work out a contract with the Tank Company, the total
amount being; $6,000.00 with a `'?3,00. down payment and the balance
be paid in four years. Motion carried.
