Minutes were read and approved.
Motion was made by Gentle; and seconded by Ready to pay the bill
for the stage in the City Park and the Chamber of Commerce to repay the City for same.
Motion carried.
Bryan Goodger met with the Council to ask for a rate increase in telephones.
The new rate is as follows;
B1 9.00
B2 7.50
R1 5.25
R2 4.25
R4 3.75
Motion was made by Pate and seconded by Ready to allow the rate
increase to become effective at the same time as Krum,
ACCEPT NORTHGATE ADDITION
HIRE CHARLIE HASKINS AS EMPLOYEE
Motion was made by Gentle and seconded by Pate to adjourn.
Motion carried.

The City Council met n re ul .f '. session-`i'v ith Mayor Lewis,
and Councilmen Cooper, Acker, Gentle, Pete, and Ready present.
John L._ Sullivan met th the Council to explain the zoning
ordinance relating to the size of side yards at corners or
intersecting streets. He said side yards are to be 2,
from the property line.
Motion was made by Gentle and seconded by Pate to give
Dwight Howard a 25.00 raise. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Gentle to .djourn.
