The City 6ouncil met in regular session with Mayor Lewis, and Council®
men Acker, Cooper`, Pate, Gentle, and Ready present.
Minutes were read and approved.
Motion was made by Acker and seconded by Gentle to pay bills. Carried.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Pate that Bill Carter
assess the 1966 taxes. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Gentle ,to call m election
for the purpose of electing two councilmen, Acker and Ready's term
h a expiring this year. Butler Boydstun was appointed Judge. Motion
carried.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Gentle to buy a new Chevrolet
pickup. The amount of the pickup being $1655.55. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Acker and seconded by Pate to adjourn. Motion carried.
