The City Council met in regular session with A�ayor Lewis and Council®
men Acker, Gentle, heady, and Cooper present.
Minutes were read and approved.
H,obe.rt ��indle, AYrs. Z�-,.dith Austin, Peirs. J. Z�. Sims Jr., Iien Cornell,
4orialan Cook, and Harold Easley of the Chamber of Commerce met with
the Council to discuss problems in common with the Chamber and Council
and pledged their support in working out these problems tokether.
Ootion was made by heady and seconded by Gentle to swap fibe feet
of the entire west side of Lot 11 Block 10 to Harold .Easley for the
paving of the alley on the south of the north half of Block 10.

The City Council met in regular sesQion with M,- or Lewis,
d Councilmen Cooper, Pete, Gent7.e, Rudy, and Acker present.
Motion was made by Pate and seconded by Ready that bills
be paid. Motion carried.
The Council made adjustments on the tax statements so they
could be typed.
The Mayor discussed with the Council ways to help get the
firemen to attend the meetings of the fire department.
The couhcil decided to meet with the department :km at a
future date.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Pate to adjourn.
