The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Lewis and Council-
men Acker, Gentle, heady, and Cooper present.
Minutes were read and approved.
3�-obert Windle, Mrs. Eyl.dith Austin, Mrs. J. hi. Sims Jr., Ken Cornell,
Norman Cook, and Harold Easley of the Chamber of Commerce met with
the Council to discuss problems in common with the Chamber and Council
and pledged their support in working out these problems toketber.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Gentle to swap f.i e feet
of the entire west side of Lot (11 Block 10 to Harold Easley for the
paving of the alley on the south of the north half of Block 10.
Motion carried.
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Ready to adjourn. Carried.
Mayor
The City Council met in regulaz' session with Mor Lewis,
d Councilmen Cooper, Pate, Gentle, Rudy, and Acker present.
Motion was made by Rate and seconded by Ready that bills
be paid. Motion carried.
The Council made adjustments on the tax statements so they
could be typed.
The Mayor discussed with the Council ways to help get the
firemen to attend the meetings of the fire department.
The couhcil decided to meet with. the department im at a
future date.
Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Pate to adjourn.
