The City Council met in regular session with Aiayor Zewis and Council®
Wien Acker, Gentle' heady' and Cooper present.
Minutes were read and approved.
Robert Windle, Mrs, Ea;dith Austin, Mrs. J. M. Sims Jr., I{en Cornell,
Nokman Cooky and Harold Easley of the Chamber of Commerce met with
the Council to discuss problems in common with the Chamber and Council
and pledged their support in working out these problems tobether.
Jotion was made by Ready and seconded by Gentle to swap fibe feet
of the entire west side of Lot rlI Block 10 to Harold .Easley for the
paving of the alley on the south of the north half of Block 10.
Motion carried.
Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Ready to adjourn. Carried®
The City Counc3.1 met in regular session with M� or Lewis,

Motion was made by Pate and seconded by Ready that bills
be paid. Motion carried.
The Council made adjustments on the tax statements so they
could be typed®
The Mayor discussed with the Council ways to help get the
firemen to attend the meetings of the fire department.
The couhcil decided to meet withthe department :kx at a
future date.
