Cooper, Acker, Pate, Gentle, and Beady present.
Motion was made 'by Pate and seconded by Acker that bills be paid. Carried.
J3ob Courtney met with the council concerning a filter plant and lagoon
north of the present sewer plant. After discussion Mayor Lewis,appointed
Councilmen Cooper and Ready to contact L. T. Kerby about purchasing some
land from him north of the present plant.
Motion} was made by Pate.and seconded by heady to adjourn. Motion carried.

Cooper, .Acker, Pate, Gentle, and heady present.
Aiinutes were read and approved.
Clifford Odell and associates of the Lone Star Gas Co. met with the`
council to ask for a new rate adjustment. Mayor Lewis asked them to leave a
copy for the city -attorney, John L. Sullivan.

The sanitation problem was discussed and it was decided to raise the
Manor Home to ��Q7.00 per month for sanitation.
The amount of the tax sinking fund was given and a motion was made bli
Cooper and seconded by Gentle to transfer $79000.00 from this account
to the savings account. Motion carried.
