05/01/1967-CC-Minutes-Regular11pril. 179 1967 The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Johnson and Council men Cooper, Acker, Pate, Ready and Gentle present. The minutes were read and approved. The secrwtary asked that a new chair be urchased for the main office. Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by late to buy the chair. Motion carried. It was decided after discussion that a, mercury light be put in the Northgate Addition, � It was also decided to pay the election judge t12.00 and the clerks were I to be paid $10.00 each. It was ar;reed that six guard lights be put on the South side of Bolivar Street since all lights on that side were out. Paul Henderson's salary was discussed and the council instructed the secretary to pay him '1300.00 per months which is his present salary. Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Pate to adjourn for church services which Hrxxi were in progress at the Baptist Church. Motion carried. Ai ay o r .,.'C City Secretary The City Council met in regular session with Aiayor Johnson and Council men Cooper' Acker, Pates Gentle, and heady present. The minutes were read and approved.. Jack Waide' Jr. and Ernest Travelstead met with the Council to get per® mission to use the city truck on May 130 to haul debris from lots in the city on a clean®up drive. The Council. agreed to let them use the truck provided an adult would do the driving. The bills were read and motion was made by Acker and seconded by looper that bills be paid. Aiotion. carried. Bob Courtney met with the council to assist the council in worming on the sewer plant problem® Air. Courtney was asl�ed to figure the cost of a new plant, also to figure and addition to the old plant. Alotion was made by picker and seconded by Gentle to change the meeting time to 7:30 p.m. Motion carried. Aiotion was made by Cooper and seconded. by Ready to adjourn.
