02/17/1969-CC-Minutes-Regular10 February 17, 1969 The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Johnson, and Council- men Acker' Pate' Cooper' and Gentle present. Ready was absent. A&A LPG Transport Company wrote the council a letter asking for an ex- tensionu until July on the storage tanks at the butane storage west of town. The council granted them the time. Mr. C.. .-JI, Basley of the First National Bank met with the council and asked for a one way street in the alley north of the Sanger Insurance Comapany. The council gave him the permit. The council called an election for a mayor and three councilmen to be held on April 511. Motion was made by Mr. Acker and seconded by A9r. Pate to ask for bids on 3 transformers 333 KVA. Motion earried•r Ceity Secretary March 17, 1969 r Minutes were read and approved. R. C. Courtney met with the council in regard to tlae raising ®f sewer rates. Motion was made by Cooper and seconded by Acker to raise rates as follows:` ,Residences -®-- 41.50 for first commode and .250 for eae & Businesses additional commode. This included schools and nursing homes. Laundries------ 3.00 for first 24 washers and'.25¢ for each additional washer. This motion carried. Motion was rude by Acker and seconded by Ready to ask for bids on the electrical equipment for 4160 switchower. Motion carried.
