The council instructed the office that no utilities will be turned on for
anyone until all past bills are paid.
Mayor Johnson is to check with Mr. Powers in Denton as to being the
auditor for the city.

The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Johnson and Councilmen
Acker, Johnson,, Cook, Ready, and Mrs. McDaniel present.
Mr. and Mrs. Mathison met with the council about installing a pool hall in
Sanger, and Mr. Briscoe joined them on the question later in the meeting.
City Attorney John L. Sullivan met with the council and read the billiard
ordinance. Mr. Mathison said they would close the pool hall.
Mr. Sullivan asked the cou�oil to pass and ordinance calling a bond election
on Oct. 4, 1969. Motion was made by Acker and seconded by Cook to pass the
ordinance. Motion carried.

The bills were read and a motion was made by Ready and seconded by 8®ok to
pay bills. Motion carried.
The Mayer explained the stamp machine to be used for stamping bills and
motion as made by Johnson and seconded by Cook to buy the machine. Motion
carried.
