10/06/1969-CC-Minutes-RegularMotion was made by Johnson and secondedb by Acker to draw $6000.00 out 117 of the tax fund to pay for the billing machine. Motion carried. Motion was made by Cook and seconded by.Johnson to check with Mr. Hamilton concerning an auditor. Motion carried. Motion was made by Johnson and seconded by lea City Secretary Sept. 15, 1969 Motion carried. The City Council met in regular session with Mayor Johnson and Councilmen Acker, Johnson' Cook, Ready, and Mrs. McDaniel present. Mr. and Mrs. Mathison met with the council about installing a pool hall in Sanger, and Mr. Briscoe joined them on the question later in the meeting. City Attorney John L. Sullivan met with the council and read the billiard ordinance. Mr. Mathison said they would close the pool hall. Mr. Sullivan asked the courhoil to pass and ordinance calling a bond election on Oct. 41 1969. Motion was made by Acker and seconded by Cook to pass the ordinance. Motion carried. Minutes were read and approved. The bills were read and a motion was made by Ready and seconded by gook to pay bills. Motion carried. The Mayor explained the stamp machine to be used for stanpmng bills and motion as made by Johnson and seconded by Cook to buy the machine. Motion carried. Aiotion was made by Cook and seconded by Airs. McDaniel. Aiotion carried. Mr. Hamilton asked the council to give him authority to find sale for bonds with as 1®w interest as possible. The council granted him permission. Bill Carter met with the council to ask about school closing street south of the football field when having a home game. The council granted this request. The council ruled that during working hours. the Fire Station is off limits to the city emnlovees Aiotion was made by Johnson and seconded by Cool City Secretary Mayor OctehE� 29, 1969 The City Co��ncil met in a called meeting with Aiayor Johnson and Council- men Cook, heady, Johnson, and Mrs. McDaniel present, City Attorney John L. Sullivan and Mro Hamilton of Hamilton Securities met with the council to discuss the bond issue. They also went over the pay�7,ents on the bonds . Ttie Aiayor asked the council to accept othe ordinance of issuance of revenue bonds. Motion was made by Ready and seconded by Mrs. AieDaniel to accept the ordinance. Motion carried. The Council also asked Attorney Sullivan to cheek on the McClary and Cole deal, t�totion was made by 1Zeady and seconded by Johnson to adjourn. McDaniel present. Representatives of the Lone Star Gas Company were present and��asked for a 25� rate increase.
