was night watehing. H® said that Mr. Hooper would like to
have the job for thirty days. The Council approved.

Mr. � resigned. Johnson made motion seconded by daikummm mxda
to accept resignation; Motion carried,
Cook made motion,seconded by Johnson to hire Mr. Schafer at a
salary of $525.00 Three voted for and One against. Motion carried.
Johnson made motion to adjourn. Ready seconded. Motion carried.

February 7, 1970
Sanger City Council met in regular session with Mayor Acker, Councilmen
Johnson, Cook, heady and Councilwoman McDaniel present.
Council discussed briefly a.petition d6r change in zoning classification
from single dwelling to multiple family dwelling asked by Gene Hughes
in Block 28 Tierwester Survey. It was decided to wait for Zoning Group
action.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Council discussed briefly Building Codes, in response to letter of
Regional Codes prepared by North Texas Council of Governments.
Bills were read and approved for payment.
Council called an election to elect a Mayor and two Councilmen April
4th (Saturday) 1970.
Air. Box and Mr. Odell with Lone Star Gas Co. met with Council to further
discuss gas rates. Mr. Box presented the following rates.
First 1000cu. ft. or friction thereof 2.222 gross. 2.00 net.
All over 1000 cu.ft. atQ9833 gross per M. C. F'.1 .885 Net per M.C.F.
Mayor Acker asked for a ruling on Lone Star's proposed rates. After
considerable discussion and deliberation motion was made by Johnson
and seconded by Ready to approve Lone Star's new proposed rate. Motion
carried.
Council discussed 6" sewer line on east side and want an early completion
of the project.
Council discussed engine drive on post hole digger and said to take
action to put it in running condition. Ready suggested that the post hole
digger was originally purchased in Sherman or Denison.
Motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Ready to adjourn Motion carried.
