11/17/1975-CC-Minutes-Regular2O4 Minutes t City Council Meeting November 17, 1975 Present: Mayor Cornell, Cooper, Hall, McDaniel, Moore, City Administrator Absent: Enlow 1. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 3, 1975 were read and approved, 2. Sanger Electric System capital improvementsa After several gust® tions to Lindon Carr concerning the line built in the Hillcrest Addition, it was moved by Cooper and seconded by Hall that Sept® ember capital improvements in the amount of $5,069.92 be approved. Motion carried 4o, 3. Sanger Electric System 1976 budgets The City Administrator, Lindon Carr and representatives from Brazos made a presestation of the proposed budget the high points of which were $96,4 14 income for the City with a $97,875 capital improvements program. The Mayor made a statement concerning the need for the annual increase in income to at least equal the increase in required debt service for capital improvements. After much discussion it was moved by McDaniel and seconded by Hall that the 1976 budget be approved. Motion carried 4- 0. 4. Fiscal year 1974 75 audit reports The City Administrator gave a brief summary of the audit report.stating.that the City completed the year with a greater surplus of cash than he had anticipated. 5. Loan Application to TWQBs The City Administrator gave.a presenta- tion of the finished application covering the major financial and engineering aspects. He stated that the application would be sub® mined within the week with a decision an it being made in Austin sometime in December. 6. Other matters a. Water rights application for Aubrey Lake: The Mayor gave a summary of the WATER & Sanitation Board meeting in Little Elm last week. A discussion ensued concerning the wide variation in engineering fees discussed at the meeting. The Mayor asked for some decision to convey to Sanger's two Board members. The City Administrator was directed to/tell the Board representatives that the Council was led to believe that an application would be submitted for approximately $2.00 ;per city and that is the amount Sanger is willing to offer.
