1. Minutes of council meetings held on March 19. 1973 and March
260 1973 were read and approved.
2. The disbursements were approved on a motion by McDaniel,
seconded by Gentle.
3. A revised solid waste ordinance was discussed and tabled until
the next regularly scheduled council session.,
4. The following resolution conce�.ng the Sanger Courier. and
its service to the City of Sanger was passed. on a motion by
McDaniel seconded by Coopers
WHEREAS the Sanger Courier has been very cooperative with the
Sanger City Council in matters pertaining to informing the citi®
Fens as to the decisions and actions taken by the City Council;
an d
WHEREAS the Sanger Courier has always promoted worthwhile en�
deaVors within our community with the sale purpose of public
service in mind; and
WHEREAS the Sanger Courier through its editorials and news
coverage was highly instrumental in the successful passage of
our Bond Issue in recent weeks;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Sanger City Counoil is
proud to commend the Sanger Courier and its Editor and Publisher,
Ralph Cole, for this wonderful cooperation in city affairs and
wishes to make known to the citizens of thb excellent public
service that is being performed here,
