COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:
Mayor Thomas Muir, Mayor Pro Tem Gary Bilyeu; Councilmember David Clark;
Councilmember Dennis Dillon
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT:
Councilmember Allen Chick; Councilmember Marissa Barrett (Absent: Barrett, Chick)
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:
Interim City Manager Jeriana Staton, City Attorney Hugh Coleman, Stefani Dodson
1.Call Meeting to Order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance..
There being a quorum, Mayor Thomas Muir called the January 7th, 2021, City Council meeting
to order at 6:07 p.m.. The invocation was given by Mayor Thomas Muir. The Pledge of
Allegiance was led by Councilmember David Clark.
2.CITIZEN INPUT:
There were no citizens who came forward wishing to speak.
3.EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Mayor Muir read Executive Session Item and convened into Executive Session at 6:09
p.m. (Absent: Barrett, Chick)
a.Texas Government Code Section 551.071: Consultation With Attorney – Real Property –
Discussion regarding possible Easement Acquisition from Green Tree Farm LC.
4.RECONVENE: OPEN MEETING:
Mayor Muir and Council reconvened and Mayor Muir called the Special Meeting back into regular
session at 7:05 p.m..
Mayor Pro Tem Bilyeu makes a motion to approve easement acquisition for Wastewater
Infrastructure and Associated Landowner Settlement Agreement with Green Tree Farm LC
Councilmember Clark seconded the motion. Motion passes unanimous with a 30 vote.
