86-27-Ordinance-Abandoning an Alley South of Austin between 3rd and 4th Streets-11/03/1986CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS ORDINANCE #86-27 AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING 100 FEET OF AN UNIMPROVED ALLEY IN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SANGER LOCATED SOUTH OF AUSTIN STREET BETWEEN 3rd & 4th, AND PROVIDING FOR THE RETENTION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS AND PROVIDING QUICK CLAIM STATUS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS THAT: The hereinafter described alley located south of Austin between 3rd and 4th to wit: Being .all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in the City of Sanger, Texas being an unopened alley on the South side of Austin Street and being more particularly described as follows; Beginning at an iron pin at the Northwest Corner of Lot 46 C Block 23 Replat of Hampton's Second Addition to the City of Sanger, Texas as shown by the Plat recorded in Cabinet F Slide 198 of the Plat Records of Denton County, Texas, THENCE: West with the South line of Austin Street a distance of 20.8 feet to the North side of said Alley; THENCE: South 00 deg. 03 in 26 sec. with the Centerline of said alley 100.0 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE: East a distance of 21.0 feet to an iron pin at the Southwest corner of said Lot 46 C; THENCE: North with the West line of -said Lot 46 C a distance of 100.0 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing approximately 2090 square feet of land; Shall be and the. same is hereby abandoned for public use as an alley, provided that the City of Sanger shall retain total utility easement rights for the present or future use of public utilities. Said ordinance shall constitute a quick claim deed conveying to and benefiting all adjacent property owners to an equal extent, and that said ordinance in a certified copy form may be filed with the County Clerk of Denton County as proof of said claim. This Ordinance will take effect immediately from and after its passage and the publication of the caption as the law in such cases provides.
