AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS,
LEVYING TAXES FOR THE USES AND SUPPORT OF
THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF
SANGER, TEXAS, FOR FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
SEPTEMBER 1, 1985 AND ENDING AUGUST 31,
1986, AND PROVIDING FOR THE INTEREST AND
SINKING FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1985 AND AP-
PROPRIATING EACH LEVY FOR THE SPECIFIC
PURPOSE: PROVIDING PENALTY AND INTEREST
OR DELINQUENT TAXES; PROVIDING FOR THE
COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT TAXES; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing on the tax rate
for the City of Sanger, Texas, for the year 1985-86 has heretofore
been published in accordance with the law; and,
WHEREAS, as a public hearing was duly held at the time
and place as provided for in the notice of such public hearing and
all interested persons were given opportunities to be heard on said
tax rate; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary, at this time, that said
ordinance be passed levying tax on all property, both real and
personal, within the City of Sanger, Texas, in accordance with
such budget and all requirements of Article 7244c RCS of the State
of Texas have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: That there is hereby levied, and there
shall be collected for the use and support %J the municipal
government of the City of Sanger, Texas, for the year 1985 upon
all property, whether real, personal or mixed, within the corporate
Limits of the City of Sanger, Texas, subject to taxation for the
year 1985, a tax at the rate of .524/$100 Dollars ($0.524) on each
One Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($100.00) valuation of property to
be assessed and collected for the purposes hereinafter stipulated,
to -wit.

Section 2: The general laws of Texas, and particularly
all the provisions of Article 7336, and of Title 122 of the Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, and all amendments thereto, relating to
the date of delinquency, penalties, interest, cost, and the collec-
tion of delinquent taxes, insofar as such provisions may be appli-
cable in connection with the collection of all taxes assessed and
Levied by the City of Sanger, Texas, for the year 1985, are hereby
referred to and adopted.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
