AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGER HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
On the 4th day of November, 1985, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the
City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building of the Citv of Sanger,
Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested
persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of Sanger, Texas of the property described below.
On the 18th day of November 1985, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the
City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building of the City of Sanger,
Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested
persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of Sanger, Texas of the following described property, to wit:
All that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the Henry Tierwester
Survey Abstract 1241, Denton County, Texas; said tract being part of
a tract shown by deed to W. E. Hilz, James M. Hilz and Stewart Craig
Snider and recorded in Volume 1505, page 187 of the Deed Records, Denton
County, Texas and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of the tract being described herein
at an iron pin, said iron pin being the northeast corner of the Hilz,
Snider tract, said iron pin also being on the west right-of-way line
of I H 35, said iron pin also being at the southeast corner of a tract
shown by deed to Dorwin L. Sargent Jr. and recorded in Volume 1412,
page 383 of said deed records;
THENCE South 00 degrees 13 minutes 37 seconds East with the east line
of said Hilz, Snider tract and the west right-of-way of said I H 35
a distance of 313.29 feet to an iron pin for the southeast corner of
this tract, said iron pin being North 00 degrees 13 minutes 37 seconds
West 60.0 feet from the southeast corner of said Hilz, Snider tract;
THENCE North 89 degrees 53 minutes 37 seconds West 60.0 feet north of
and parallel to the south line of said Hilz, Snider tract a distance
of 560.70 feet to an iron pin for the southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE North OO degrees 13 minutes 37 seconds West a distance of
30.8.23 feet to an iron pin in the north line of Hilz, Snider tract;
THENCE North 89 degrees 35 minutes 23 seconds East with the north line
of Hilz, Snider tract a distance of 560.70 feet to the Point of
Beginning and containing in all 4.00 acres of land.
SECTION II.
The Mayor of the City of Sanger, Texas, is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above des-
cribed territory not more than forty days nor less than twenty days prior
to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal
Annexation Act (Article 970a, Vernon's Texas City Statutes).
SECTION III.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately fol-
lowing its passage and approval.
