AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING VEHICLE PARKING ON THE EAST
AND WEST ACCESS ROADS OF INTERSTATE (I-35)1 STEMMONS
FREEWAY IN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SANGER,
COUNTY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
A PENALTY CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCE IN CONFLICT.
WHEREAS, it has been deemed by the City Council of the
City of Sanger, Texas, that the prohibition of vehicular parking
on the east and west access roads of Interstate 35 (Stemmons
Freeway) is necessary to provide clear and safe vision for all
vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the aforementioned access
roads and other such city streets approaching and connecting to
said access roads; Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. VEHICULAR PARKING
Vehicular parking of any type is hereinafter prohibited on the
east and west access roads of Interstate 35 within the corporate

t of the City of Sanger as presently established and as said
corporation lines may be changed or amended.
SECTION 2. PENALTY
It shall be unlawful, and a misdemeanor, for any person to violate
any section or provision of this ordinance, and any person violating
any section or provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction,
be fined a sum of Thirty Six Dollars ($36.00).
SECTION 3. SAVING CLAUSE
If any clause, sentence, provision, section, or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged to be unconstitutional or invalid for
any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment
shall not impair, affect, or invalida"te the remainder of this
ordinanceI which shall remain in full force and effect hereunder
and thereafter.
SECTION 4. REPEALING CLAUSE
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.

SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
