AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN WARRANT FEES TO BE PAID
TO THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS ESTABLISHING A CERTAIN WARRANT
SERVICE FEE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Court and the Police Department of the
City of Sanger must from time to time issue and serve warrants for
failure to appear in the Sanger Municipal Court as well as other
warrant needs, and
WHEREAS, the City of Sanger requires that the expense of
operation of the Judicial action be covered by the offending party.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Sanger, Texas that:
SECTION I.
A warrant fee of $25.00 as provided for by State Law is hereby
established and to be collected for each warrant issued by the
Municipal Court for the City of Sanger, Texas.
SECTION II.
Police Officers and Police Reserves of the Sanger Police
Department may receive for the cost and serving of said warrants
a fee, not to exceed $15.00 provided said service is on off
duty time.
SECTION III.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and
approval.
