83-7-Ordinance-Amending the Electric Utility Rates-06/27/1983 CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 83-7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 7 OF THE C011E OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF, SANGER, TEXAS, ENTITLED SANGER ELECTRIC SYSTEM ELECTRIC RATES; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE$ AND PROVIDING FORA PENALTY FOR VIOLATION. BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TExAS: SECTION I THAT CHAPTER 10, SECTION 7 OF THE SANGER CODE OF ORDINANCES IS HEREBY AMENDED CO READ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 7: ELECTRIC SERVICE RATES Electrical service rates shall be as follows: A. RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC RATE (1) Availability: To any customer for electric service used for residential purposes in individual, private dwellings and in individually -metered apartments supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one meter. (2) Type of Service: Service shall be single phase at 60 cycles and standard secondary voltages. (3) Summer Rate (June through October) Facilities Charge: Energy Charge: Minimum Bill: (4) Winter Rate (November through May) Facilities Charge: Energy Charge: Minimum Bi11 $9.00 per Month $0.047744 per kwh for all kwh $9.OQ.per Month $9.00 per Month $0.037744 per kwh for first 1,000 kwh $0.032744 per kwh for additional kwh $9.00 per Month B. Where entire servicmeter, be measured at one utilization voltage with one standard type, will be measured at primary voltage. (3) Rate: Demand Charge: $50.00 for first 6 kw 8.00 per kw for additional (June -October) $ 6.00 per kw for additional (November -May) Energy Charge: $0.02 per kwh for all kwh Minimum Bill: $50.00 per Month D. MUN F. G. CPAL WATER AND SEWAGE 0 (1) Availability: To the City of Sanger for water and sewage pumping and for lighting incidental thereto. Facilities Charge: Horsepower Charge: Energy Charge: Minimum Bill: $5.00 per Month $2.00 per connected horsepower $0.029110 per kwh for all $3.35 per horsepower MUNICIPAL SERVICE LIGHTING RATE (1) Availability: To the City of Sanger for street lighting and for all municipal purposes other than water and sewage pumping. Energy Charge; $0.048150 per kwh for all k GUARD LIGHT RATE (1) Availability: To any customer. If a utility pole is required, customer will pay installation cost in advance. Unmetered Charge: 115 Watt MVL - 71 kwh Metered Charge: 175 Watt MVL POWER COST ADJUSTMENT $6.30 each per month, plus Adjustment Charges $3.00 each per month Designation: PCA Application: The monthly bill will be adjusted on a per kwh basis for purchased power cost which is above or below the amount included in the base rates as follows: PCA = P _± C - B S Where PCA = Power Adjustment in $/kwh P = Estimated power cost for current month C = Over or under collections in previous months S = Estimated kwh sales in the current month B = Base at $.03425/kwh M SECTION II All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
