AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR, BEGINNING
SEPTEMBER 1, 1981 AND ENDING AUGUST 31, 1982; AND APPROPRIATING
THE VARIOUS AMOUNTS THEREOF,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGE R, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the proposed budget of the revenues of the City
of Sanger and the expenses of conducting the affairs, thereof,
providing a complete financial plan for the ensuing fiscal year,
beginning September 1, 1981 and ending August 31, 1982, as sub-
mitted to the City Council by the City Manager of said City, be,
and the same is in all things adopted and approved as the budget
of all the current expenses as well as the fixed charges against
said City for the fiscal year beginning September 1, 1981 and end-
ing August 31, 1982.
SECTION 2. The sum of $315,617.00 is hereby appropriated out
of the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and capital
outlay of the City Government.
SECTION 3. That the sum of $5,650.00 is hereby appropriated out
of the General Fund for the purpose of paying the interest due on
general obligation bonds and time warrants, redeeming the serial
bonds as they mature, and creating a sinking fund therefor.
SECTION 4. That the. sum of $141,620.00 is hereby appropriated
out of Lite Utility Fund for the payment of operating expenses and
capital outlay for the City Government, and $4,239.00 be appropri-
ated for the purpose of paying City of Sanger s committment toward
Brazos' debt retirement.
SECTION 5. That the sum of $86,21800 is hereby appropriated out
of the Utility Fund for the purpose of paying interest due on
revenue bonds, redeeming the serial bonds as they mature, and
creating a sinking fund therefor, and $6,200.00 is hereby ap-
propriated for the purpose of paying Time Warrant payments on
the Computer, and $33,000.00 is hereby appropriated to be trans-
ferred to Electric Cpaital Improvements Fund,
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be and remain in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval by the City Council
of the City of Sanger, Texas,
