ORDINANCE NO. 4-1-72
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF SANGER,
TEXAS, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, SC 00 ACRES '
OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, LYING AND BEING SITUATED
IN DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS, ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS
TO THE CITY LIMITS OF SANGER, TEXAS, D E S C R I B 1 iI G ,
SAID ANNEXED TERRITORY BY METES AND BOUNDS, AND
PRESCRIBING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
, FHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 97L6; VIE
Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, and the Municipal Annexation {
Acts of the State of Texas, all of the owners of, and personas
^aving an Interest in, the hereinafter described territory, q

w _ich i s vacant and without residents, adjoining and being t

contiguous to the City himits+ of the City of Sanger, Texas,
a municipal corporation, aggregating 30.00 acres of land,
wore or less, less than one-half (1/2) mile in width, described ;
by metes and bounds i.n two tracts in Exhibit rrAvr attached
hereto, and incorporated herein, heretofore; on the !
aay of April, A. Da 1972, presented a petition ir_ wrl ing
to the City Council of the said City of Sanger, Texas, duly
signed by all of said owners of, and persons having an interest
in, said lands, properly acknowledged as provided by law, for
the annexation of said territory by ordinance to the said City
cf San per, Texas, and _
J.HEREAS, said petition is in due and proper form, and in
col-pliance with law, and the above described territory, when:
annexed, taken together with'all other land presently within g
-.,he Citq Limits of said City of Sanger, Texas, will not exceed
authorized terr torial l.m!_ts of the said City of Sanger, Texas,
