ORDINANCE NO. 79-5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 78-2 (l)
OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TE1jAS , BY REDEFINING
THE TERM °PLIGHT TRUCK," ADDING ADD IT IONAL
STREETS TO THE DEFINED TRUCK ROUTES,
PROVIDING FOR EXEMPTION OF TRAVEL TRAILERS,
CAN PER TRAILERS, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL
VEHICLES FROM THE TERMS OF THE ORDINANCE,
DELETING THE REPEALING CLAUSE, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the C itg Council of the City of Sanger, Texas ,
has determined that Ordinance No. 78-2 (1) of the Citg of
should be amended as hereinafter set forth;
NOW; THEREFORE:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGER, TEXAS , A
MUN ICIPAL CORFORAT ION HEREBY ORDASiVTS THAT
SECT ION l .
Section 1 A. 2 of said Ordinance 78-2 (1) of the City
o: Sanger, Texas, shall be and the same is herebg amended to
hereafter read as follows*
SECT ION 2 .
Section 1 B. of said Ordinance 78-2 (1) of the Citg of
Sanger, Texas, shall be and the Name is hereby amended to
add the following streets to the designated truck routes,
to -wit
PP 11'. Sixth Street from its intersection with
F. l I. Road No. 455 South to Plum Street.

2. Houston Street from its intersection with
Fifth Street, also knows as Loop 138,
West to Katherine Drive4 thence North
along Katherine Drive to Austin Street
thence West along Austin Street to the
East service or frontage road of Interstate
Highway No. 35•

SECT ION 3 .
Section II B. 2 of said Ordinance No. 78-2 (1) of the
City of Sanger, Texas, shall be and the same is hereby amended
to hereafter read as follows, to-wity
}°2. Private travel trailers, camper trailers,
and other recreational vehicles, designed
for use primarily upon streets and highways,
and temporary living quarters, shall be
excluded from the provisions of this
ordinance. Mobile homes, designed for use
as permanent residential 1 iv ing quarters,
shall not be included within the foregoing
exemption.
School buses, church buses, and public
emergency vehicles, including fire trucks,
are also exempt from the provisions of this
Ordinance . °1
SECTION 4 .
Sect ion V, of said Ord inane e No. 78 -2 (1) of the City of
Sanger, Texas, designated as the "Repealing Clause', shall be
and the same is hereby repealed and shall henceforth be of no
further force or affect. Said Sect ion V of said Ordinande No .
78-2 (1) hereby repealed, shall be deleted therefrom.
SECTION
5.
EFFECTIVE DATE,
This Ordinance shall take effect, and be in full force and
effect, from and after the date of its passage.
