AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 1964-2 OF
THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLESHMENT OF REGULATIONS FOR A COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANGER AND ITS
ESTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION, BY AMENDING SECTION
19-C OF SAID ORDINANCE RELATING TO BUILDING PERMIT
REQUIREMENTS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas,
has determined that the existing Section 19-C of Ordinance
No. 1964-2 of the City of Sanger, Texas, which has heretofore
required persons to apply for and obtain a building permit
in order to demolish any building or structure in any zone
districts of the City of Sanger, should be amended to permit
the demolition of a building or structure without applying
for an obtaining a building permit;
NOW, THEREFORE:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1.
Section 79.0 of Ordinance 1964-2 of the City of Sanger,
Texas, shall be and the same is hereby amended to hereafter
read as follows:
SECTION 19-C BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED
No person shall erect or construct or proceed
with the erection or construction of any building
or structure, nor add to, enlarge, move,improve,
alter, repair, convert, extend, any building or
structure, or cause the same to be done in any
zone district of the City of Sanger without first
applying for andobtaining a building permit,
threfore, from the Building Inspector. All appli-
cations for such permits shall be in accordance
with the requirements of this ordinance and build-
ing code of the City of Sanger, and no such building
permiL or certificate of occupancy shall be issued
for any building where said construction, addition,
alteration or use thereof would be in violation of
any of the provisions of this ordinance.

SECTION
2.
EFFECTIVE
DATE
This Ordinance shall take effect, and be in full force
and effective, from and after the date of its passage.
