80-3-Ordinance-Amending the Solid Waste Regulations-01/07/1980ORDINANCE NO. () AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF BANGER SOLID WASTE ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RESTRICTED USE OF CITY DUMP GROUNDS, ESTAB- LISHING A METHOD FOR COLLECTING FEES, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas, has determined that the existing Section 19 of City of Sanger Solid Waste Ordinance, which heretofore has permitted any persons regardless of their residence location to use the City of Sanger solid waste landfill, should be amended to restrict the use of the municipal landfill to only persons residing within the City limits, City of Sanger and to those persons who reside on the Sanger Rural Mail Route; NOW, THEREFORE: THE CITY COUNCIL OF, THE CITY OF BANGER, TEXAS, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 19 of the City of Sanger Solid Waste Ordinance shall be and the same is hereby amended to hereafter read as follows: Section 19. Use Of City Dump Grounds By Private Persons. A. License and Fees Required. No person except duly authorized agents and employees of the city, shall empty garbage cans or trash receptacles into or convey or transport garbage or trash to any dump or dumps ov.aned or maintained by the city withoijt a written license for each vehicle used for such purpose granted and issued by the City of Sanger. B. Collection of Fees. No monies will be exchanged at the municipal waste disposal site during regular office hours of the City Hall. Waste disposal site attendant will collect fees on Saturday for the City. All monies collected shall be turned in to the City Hall night deposit box on Saturday after the waste disposal site has been closed. C. Boundaries Set for Jse of TJas`'re Disposal Site. Residents of the City of Sanger may dump their own wastes at no their utility bill to the attendant. -1- charge by presenting Non-residents of the City CITE` SECRETARY ORIGINAL COPY of Sanger who reside on the Sanger Rural Mail Route must present a coupon purchased at City Office after having paid the required fee as herein prescribed: Non Resident Fee Schedule. 1. Earth, rocks and inert material suitable for cover of refuse, no charge. 2. Passenger cars, station wagons, and pickups used by non - Sanger resident owners to haul owner's waste $50.00 per year or $2.00 per load. 3. Commercial pick-ups, panel trucks, and single -axle trailers $2.00 per load. 4. Trucks, two, axle -with cargo bed less than 15 feet or trailer two axle $5.00. 5. Trucks, three axle or truck, two axle with cargo bed length 15 ft. or greater $7.00 per load. 6. Trucks, semi -trailers or roll -off containers $10.00 per load. 7. Truck, Compactor, 30 C.Y. or less $15.00 per load. 8. Truck, compactor, greater than 30 C.Y. - $20.00 per load. 9. Trucks, liquid wastes - $10.00 per load. 10. Any load including tires -or waste rubber - $3.00 additional charge per load. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall take affect, and be in full force and effective, from and after the date of its passage. APPROVED this the Y C7& day of January, A.D. 1980.
