1. Chairperson Shaw called the meeting to order.
2. Approve Minutes -Motion was made by Andy Garza to approve
minutes. Glenn Ervin seconded Motion carried
3. Conduct Public Hearing Regarding a Zoning Request from
Mr. & Mrs. Barney McAfee to change zoning from B2 (Business 2) to
1-1 (Industrial 1) on Property located at Keaton and Interstate 35 and
is legally described as 11.450 acres out of the H. Tierwester Survey
and W. P. Johnston Survey, Abstract 682
Chairperson Shaw declared the Public Hearing open.
Mrs. Mitchell Danielson, lives on Fairfield Circle, expressed concern
as to the effect this zoning would have on their property value and
what sort of businesses would be constructed in that area She also
addressed concern regarding the' effect a large business would have
on the congestion of the creek.
Mrs. Danielson was asked to come by the office and pick up a copy of
the schedule of uses of the different zoning classifications.
Staff did recommend approval.
Chairperson Shaw declared the Public Hearing closed.
4. Consider and Possible Action Regarding a Zoning Request from

Motion was made by Mary Bell Sims to recommend approval for the
zoning change as requested Seconded by Andy Garza. Motion carried

Zelma and Abram Millar on Property described as Lots 1-7, Block A,
being 99.313 acres in the Reuben Bebee Survey, Abstract 29, Marion
Point Acres
Chairperson Shaw declared the Public Hearing open.
City Administrator Hamilton addressed Board recommending approval.
Chairperson Shaw declared the Public Hearing closed.
6. Consider and Possible Action Regarding an ETJ Subdivision Request

Russell Madden made the motion to recommend approval to the City
Council. Seconded by Peggy Haskins. Motion carried.
7. Any Other Such Matters
City Administrator Hamilton asked the Board what day of the week is
best for them to meet.
Board agreed that Thursdays are best
