02/08/1996-PZ-Minutes-RegularMINUTES: Planning and Zoning Commission February 8, 1996 PRESENT: Chairperson Russell Madden, Glenn Shaw, Charles Fenoglio, Mike James, Peggy Haskins, Mary Bell Sims ABSENT: Betty Jenkins OTHERS PRESENT: City Secretary Rosalie Chavez, Brad Shelton, Gary Hammett, Art Kramer, John Blankenship -Santa Fe Railroad 1. Chairperson Madden Called the Meeting to Order. 2. Approve Minutes. Motion was made by Glenn Shaw to Approve Minutes of January 18, 1996. Seconded by Mike James. Motion Carried unanimously. 3. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider Final Replat ofWiUowood Addition Lots 1-19 Block A, Lots 1-12 Block B, Lots 1-8 and 18 Block C, Lot 1 Block E located at southeast comer of 5th Street and Wayne. Chairperson Madden declared Public Hearing opened. John Blankenship from the Engineering Department of Santa Fe Railroad in Fort Worth, Te:1.as addressed some concern with the platting of Willowood. Mr. Blankenship indicated he had the same concern fave years ago when they were attempting to make a subdivision of the property. Mr. Blankenship indicated he wanted to make the members aware that at this time Santa Fe only has a 36 inch corrugated pipe running underneath the creek. If the flow is increased through that pipe most likely they will have to increase the size of the pipe or run another singular pipe to accomodate the run off. Chairperson Madden informed Mr. Blankenship that when the Council meets to approve this plat this will be addressed at that time. Mr. Hammett did advise he will check into this matter. Chairperson Madden declared the Public Hearing closed. 4. Consider and Possible Action Regarding Final Replat ofWillowood Addition Lots 1-19 Block A, Lots 1-12 Block B, Lots 1-8 and 18 Block C, Lot 1 Block E located at southeast corner of 5th Street and Wayne. Motion was made by Mike James to accept the changes of the Replat of Willowood Addition as indicated in the minutes. Seconded by Charles Fenoglio. Motion Carried unanimously. 5 Any Other Such Matters. None. 6. Adjournment.
