1. Tommy Kincaid called the meeting to order.
Kenneth Howard was sworn in as a new member to the P. & z.
2. Minutes of April 14, 1987 Meeting were approved with correction
on item #3 last paragraph -Motion was seconded by Eileen
Brittian.
3. Consider and Possible Action on·Final Plat for Jean Crow and
Mr. & Mrs. V. D. Hilliard.
Motion was made by Charles·Kesseler, seconded by Fred Yeatts
to accept the final plat on Jean Crow and Mrs. & Mrs. Hilliard's
plat. Motion carried.
4. Consider and Possible Action on Preliminary Plat for Metz
Estates in the City of Sanger E.T.J. for lot split on Metz Road.
Kenneth Howard explained the situation on this preliminary
plat. It seemed sometime ago these lots were split and never
actually recorded on any deed. The county has come in and
required that a corrected plat be filed.
Motion was made by Charles Kesseler to accept the preliminary
plat. Seconded by Fred Yeatts. Motion carried.
s. Consider and Possible Action to discuss variance for Craig
Snider's Subdivision.
Steve Shutt discussed the problem of the setbacks on these
two lots. It seemed that the building inspector who was here
before approved these buildings as is a year ago.
Discussion continued. Motion was made by Fred Yeatts to approve
the variance request on 2010 and 2026 Benjamin Drive being Lot 17
and Lot 9. Blk. 1 in Snider Addition. Kenneth Howard seconded.
Motion carried.
6. Consider and Possible Action on Final Plat for lot split for
Craig Snider's property.
Motion was made by Kenneth Howard. Seconded by Fred Yeatts.
Motion carried with Kesseler abstaining.

7. Consider and Possible Action on Variance for Gene Hughes
Lot 3, Blk. 1, Bourland Addition.
Steve Shutt again stated the problem on this particular
situation.
The building permits again had been issued and approved
by our prior building inspector (Truman Harp out of Metroplex).
Steve stated that Mr. Harp is no longer with Metroplex.
However, we still have to be faced with the problem.
More discussion followed as to the fact that the City
needs to enforce their rules on Building Codes. More
discussion followed.
Motion was made by Kenneth Howard to approve variances on
Lot 3, Blk. 1 and Lot 1, Blk. 2 in the Bourland Addition,
901 Keaton and 1801 Mylinda Myrl. Fred Yeatts seconded.
Motion carried.
