1. Russell Madden Called Meeting to Order.
2. Approve Minutes -October 19, 2000
Correction made to the minutes to change Benny Chambers to Benny Johnson.
Ken Perry moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Bobby Frizzell seconded.
Motion Carried unanimously.
3. Consider and Possible Action Regarding Appointment of a Chairperson.
Motion was made by Bobby Frizzell to appoint Jerry Jenkins as Chairperson. Rodney
Dillon seconded. Motion Carried unanimously.
4. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request concerning Setbacks on
property legally described as OT Sanger, Block 37, Lot 3, Property is located at 118 S.
611a Street.
Public Hearing opened.
Betty Sons, 118 S. 611a St., indicated she wanted to install a carport, but needs a 2 ft.
variance. The carport will be 20' X 20'.
Public Hearing closed.

Bobby Frizzell asked if there were any ordinances against carports.
Staff indicated there were not, but they have to meet the setback requirements.
Russell Madden asked if the fence could be moved 2 ft.
Ms. Sons indicated her dogs would not have accessibility to the back yard if the fence
were moved.
Discussion.
Bobby Frizzell moved to approve the request. Sherry Lewis seconded. Motion carried
unanimously.
