MINUTES: BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
FEBRUARY 22, 2001

1. Chairperson Jerry Jenkins Called Meeting to Order.
2. Approve Minutes -February 8, 2001
Jim Mann indicated he was not listed as present on the minutes.
Nel Armstrong moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Ken Perry.
Motion carried unanimously.
3. Consider and Possible Action on Appointment of a Co-Chairperson.
Sherry Lewis nominated Russell Madden, Nel Armstrong seconded the nomination and
moved that all nominations cease. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request Concerning setbacks on the
East Property line on Property Legally Described as Abstract 29, Rueben Bebee
Survey, Tract 132. Property is located at 205 Chapman.

Public Hearing opened.
Ronnie Beard indicated he would answer any questions they had.
Public Hearing closed.
Consider and Possible Action Regarding a Variance Request Concerning Setbacks on
the East Property line on Property Legally Described as Abstract 29, Rueben Bebee
Survey, Tract 132. Property is located at 205 Chapman.
Chairperson Jenkins indicated this request was from Mr. Beard, he would like to build
a metal building similar to the one that is currently there. He indicated a variance had
been granted on that building, and the new building would be in line with it.
Brief discussion regarding the request, and the current zoning. The zoning is 1-1.
Chairperson Jenkins asked Mr. Beard if he was aware of the metal building ordinance.
Mr. Beard indicated he was.
Russell Madden asked what the normal setback on 1-1 is.
Chairperson Jenkins indicated it was ten (10) feet, they are requesting an eight (8) foot
variance.
Russell Madden moved to approve the request, Ken Perry seconded. Motion carried
unanimously.
6. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request Concerning a Two Family
Residence in Single Family Zoning on Property Legally described as Sanger South,
Block 2, Lot 13. Property is located at 125 Southside Drive.
This item not heard, need to send to Planning and Zoning.
7. Consider and Possible Action Regarding a Variance Request concerning a two family
Residence in Single Family Zoning on Property Legally described as Sanger South,
Block 2, Lot 13. Property is located at 125 Southside Drive.
