Jerry Jenkins Called Meeting to Order. 2. Approve Minutes: May 27, 2004 Motion was made by Byron Moore to approve minutes as presented. Pete Morris seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 3. Consider and Possible Action on Appointment of Chairperson and Co-Chairperson. Motion was made by Jerry Jenkins to appoint Mary Ann Pyron as Chairperson. John Looper seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Bobby Robison to appoint Pete Morris as the Co-Chairperson. Byron Moore seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request concerning Setbacks on property legally described as Hampton Addition, Block 21, Lot 55A. Property is Located at 703 S. 5th Street. (Corner of Houston and 5th) 5. Public Hearing opened. No Discussion. Public Hearing closed Consider and Possible Action regarding a Variance Request concerning Setbacks on property legally described as Hampton Addition, Block 21, Lot SSA. Property is Located at 703 S. 5th Street. (Corner of Houston and 5th ) Donny Mack, 1209 FM 2153, indicated he was the owner of Beaver Builders and they applied for this variance. They are requesting to relocated the rear building setback from twenty-five feet to thirteen and a half feet. I Discussion in regards to the request from the property owner next door. They had requests regarding the fence. Discussed that planting hedges would be the least expensive. Motion was made by Byron Moore to grant the variance request to Beaver Builders from twenty five feet to thirteen and a half feet for the rear building line. Bobbye Robison seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 6. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request concerning Parking Regulations on property legally described as Sullivan North, Block 4, Lot 3. Property is located on F.M. 455. Public Hearing opened. No Discussion. Public Hearing closed. 7. Consider and Possible Action regarding a Variance Request concerning Parking Regulations on property legally described as Sullivan North, Block 4, Lot 3. Property is located on F .M. 455. The owner is requesting a variance on parking regulations. Mr. Hight is putting in an Auto Parts store and due to the size of the lot, they will be unable to meet the parking requirements. Discussed required parking is ten (10) spaces and Mr. Hight can only provide nine (9) spaces for the 4,050 square foot building. Discussion followed regarding the request. Motion made by John Looper to approve the variance request on the parking regulations. Byron Moore seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 8. Meeting Adjourned. Approval
