Polly Dwyer called meeting to order. 2. Approve Minutes: May 12, 2005 Motion was made by John Looper to approve minutes as presented. Pete Morris seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 3. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request concerning Dwelling Size on property legally described as Sanger South Block 1, Lot 45. Property is located at 108 Southpark Ct. Public Hearing opened. No Discussion. Public Hearing closed. 4. Consider and Possible Action to Consider a Variance Request concerning Dwelling Size on property legally described as Sanger South Block 1, Lot 45. Property is located at 108 Southpark Ct. 5. Staff recommends approval. Grant Homes are requesting a Variance on the Dwelling Size of the above referenced property. Discussion. Bobbye Robison made motion to approve variance request as stated. Property is located at 913 Marshall, Lot 3. Public Hearing opened. I Lois Scobee spoke about the property at 913 Marshall. The lot is a mess and homeowners want it cleaned up with the new home. Staff indicated that Homeowner will be cited everyday until they abide by regulations. Becky Thomas at 309 Denton. She is concerned about the mess on the property. The Grant requirements are that they have to comply with City Regulations. City Secretary indicated that the property owner will have to take care of this problem. Public Hearing closed. 6. Consider and Possible Action to Consider a Variance Request concerning Dwelling Size on property legally described as HAMPTON BLOCK ll(SWl/4). Property is located at 913 Marshall, Lot 3. No Discussion. John Looper made motion to accept Variance request as indicated. Seconded by Tracy Murphree. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Public Hearing opened. No Discussion. Public Hearing closed. 8. Property is located at 901 Willow Street. 901 Willow Street is what is stated in Denton CAD. Discussion as to the correct address on this address will be changed if needed on Building Permit. John Looper made motion to approve variance request as indicated. Seconded by Carroll McNeill. Motion passed unanimously. I 9. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request concerning Dwelling Size on property legally described as Al241 HENRY TIERWESTER SURVEY, TRACT 1989, BEING 0.17 ACRES. Property is located at 603 Walnut. Public Hearing Opened. Discussion about the lot size not meeting requirements. Calculation were made to make sure it met requirements. Public Hearing Closed. 12. Consider and Possible Action to Consider a Variance Request concerning Dwelling Size on property legally described as A1241 HENRY TIERWESTER SURVEY, TRACT 1989, BEING 0.17 ACRES. Property is located at 603 Walnut. 13. Motion made by John Looper to approve Variance Request as indicated. Seconded by Bobbye Robison. Motion carried unanimously. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request Concerning Setbacks on Property legally described as Heritage West, Block A, Lot 9. Property is located at 2517 Santa Fe Trail. James Adams at 2517 Santa Fe Trail would like to erect a portable storage building being 12x16. The structure would be on a 2x6 foundation with a 10 ft setback line. North of his property is Commercial. The building would be backing up to commercial property. Owner is requesting a 2' setback instead of the 10' that is required. Public Hearing Closed. 14. Consider and Possible Action to Consider a Variance Request Concerning Setbacks on Property legally described as Heritage West, Block A, Lot 9. Property is located at 2517 Santa Fe Trail. Property owner letters were sent and the letters received were from Sam Austin who approves. Motion was made by Pete Morris to approve Variance Request as indicated. Seconded by Tracy Murphree. Motion carried unanimously. 15. Meeting adjourned at 6:36pm. Approved
