1. Polly Dwyer Called Meeting to Order.
2. Approve Minutes: August 23, 2007
Mark McNeal indicated he should have been listed as present at the meeting.
Dorcyle McClure indicated that on item #4 she voted in opposition.
Mark McNeal moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Dorcyle McClure seconded.
Motion carried unanimously.
3. Conduct Public Hearin2 to Consider a Variance Request Re2ardin2 Buildin2 Setbacks
for a Gara2e on Property Le2ally Described as Abstract 71, Tract 4. Property is
Located at 1012 Cowling Road.
Public Hearing Opened.
No Discussion.
Public Hearing Closed.
4. Consider and Possible Action Re2ardin2 a Variance Request Re2ardin2 Buildin2
Setbacks for a Gara2e on Property Legally Described as Abstract 71, Tract 4. Property
is Located at 1012 Cowling Road.
Brief discussion regarding the request.
Property owner indicated the garage would be built on the Northeast corner of the lot.
Discussed that the building would be on a permanent foundation and fully enclosed.
Joe Falls indciated the property owner on the North had indicated they would not be
opposed to an 8 foot setback. The Property Owner on the East was not opposed to a 3
foot setback. He indicated he would approve of those setbacks.
Joe Falls moved to approve on 8 foot setback on the North side of the property adjacent
to Ralph Cain, and a 3 foot setback on the East side of the property. Mark McNeal
seconded. Motion carried 6 to 1. Dorcyle McClure opposed.
