MINUTES: Board of Adjustment
June 20, 1996
PRESENT: Francile Sullivan, Bobbye Robison, Allen Sweeney, Andy Garza, Ben
Weatherall
ABSENT: Fred Yeatts, Russell Madden
1. Call Meeting to Order.
Prior to Calling a Meeting, Motion was made by Allen Sweeney to nominate Francile
Sullivan as Vice-Chairperson. Seconded by Bobbye Robison.
Motion Carried unanimously.
Chairperson Sullivan Called the Meeting to Order.
2. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Setback Variance Request (Building Line) on
property located at 502 Turtle Creek, legally described as Lot 8, Block 3B.
Chairperson Sullivan declared Public Hearing opened.
Curtis Hughes addressed this item concerning the Variance Request.
Members of the Board discussed the bay window since it would also extend into the
setback requirements.
Chairperson Sullivan declared Public Hearing closed.
3. Consider and Possible Action Regarding a Setback Variance Request (Building Line)
on property located at 502 Turtle Creek, legally described as Lot 8, Block 3B.
Motion was made by Allen Sweeney to grant Variance Request Setback of 14 feet.
Seconded by Ben Weatherall.
Motion Carried unanimously.
4. Any Other Such Matters.
None.
5. Adjournment.
Motion was made by Ben Weatherall to Adjourn. Seconded by Andy Garza.
Motion Carried unanimously.
