MINUTES: Board of Adjustment
February 26, 1998

1. Chairperson Yeatts Called the Meeting to Order.
2. Approve Minutes.
Motion was made by Allen Sweeney to Approve Minutes. Seconded by Francile
Sullivan.
Motion Carried unanimously.
3. Conduct Public Hearing to Consider a Variance Request on the Lot Dimensions of
property legally described as Sullivan West Block 4 (bottom halt). Said property is
located on 8th Street.
Chairperson Yeatts Declared Public Hearing Opened.
City Secretary Rosalie Chavez explained that the house met the setback requirements,
however, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes needed a variance for the lot size. The Planning and
Zoning and City Council had already granted a zoning change from SF-4 to SF-4A to
accommodate the single car garage.
Chairperson Yeatts Declared Public Hearing Closed.
4. Consider and Possible Action to Approve Variance Request on the Lot Dimensions of
property legally described as Sullivan West Block 4 (bottom halt). Said property is
located on 8th Street.
Motion was made by Francile Sullivan to Approve Variance Request. Seconded by
Andy Garza. Motion Carried unanimously.
5. Any Other Such Matters.
None.
6. Adjourn.
Motion was made by Allen Sweeney. Seconded by Francile Sullivan.
Motion Carried unanimously.
