The Zoning and Planning Commission of Sanger, Texas met XX in the Council
Room of the Sanger City Hall, Saturday, Sept. 25, 1971 at 4:30 p.m. Pre-
sent for the meeting were Alvin Brown, J. C. Landers, Mrs. 0009 Neilan
Cook, Mrs. Jack Hall and J. W. Sebastian to discuss the issue of
rezoning which was tabled at the Sept. 21 meeting.
The Commission members viewed and discussed the property in question.
the motion was made by J. C. Landers, seconded by Mrs. Cook and passed
unanimously, that it be recommended to the Sanger City Council that
property described below be rezoned from RESIDENTIAL TO LOCAL MMXNX3SX
RETAIL:
burgess Addition (Eastside of I-35E); Lot 106A (300t deep);
Block 14 - Lots 95, 95J; Block 15 - Lotsi 87, 88, 89, 90,
95, 97, and 100.
Hughes Addition (Eastside of I-35E),(:Block 4, Lots 1, 2;
Block 3 V Lot 2; —Lot 79-1.
Bebee Survey (Eastside of I-35E): Tract 78, 79-1, 77 (3001 deep).
H. Tierwester Survey (Westside of I-35W) Lots 91, 92;
Tract 25, 78A, 77 (3001 deep).
The motion was made by Ella Hall, seconded by Mrs. Cook, and passed
unanimously that the Commission recommend to the City Council that the
property described below be rezoned from RESIDENTIAL to LOCAL BUSINESS:
H. Tierwester Survey (Eastside of I-35E) Tract #28 (380, deq)
H. Tierwester Survey (Westside of I-35W) Tract #28 (3001 deep).
The motion was made by Mrs. Cook and seconded by Mrs. Hall to schedule
a public hearing for Saturday, Oct. 2, 1971, to consider a petition to
rezone a section of the Tierwester Survey #28 on the Eastside of Inter-
state 35, 4581deep (enstead of the aforeconsidered 380t deep)a difference
of 78t). Also to be considered in the public hearing is the petition
to rezone Lot 104 of the Burgess Addition from RESIDENTIAL to LOCAL
RETAIL.
The meeting was adjourned with a motion by J. C. Landers, seconded
by Mrs. Coo
