06/21/1972-PZ-Minutes-RegularMINUTES OF TUESDAY EVENING, JUNE 21. 1972 The Planning and Zoning Commission of Sanger, Texas met with the members of the City Council of Sanger, Texas Tuesday evening, June 21, 1972 at 7:00 P.M. Commission members present were Chair- man Alvin Brown, Secretary Ella Hall,and J.C. Landers. Others Dresent were Council members Eulalia McDaniel, Ken Cornell, Jack Hall, Bill Gentle and Guy Bennett; also Developers Easley, Coker and Ready and Engineer Martin Moore. Following a discussion of the preliminary Plat of Sanger South Addition, the Zoning Commission retired to an outer office for a short meeting at which time J.C. Landers made a motion that the Commission make a recommendation to the City Council that the preliminary plat of the Sanger South Addition be approved with the exception of the location of water and sewer lines. The motion stated that the water and sewer lines should be placed in the easements (alleys) whenever feasible as stated in Section 2, Article 2-27 of the Sanger Sub -Division Ordinance No. 1-2-72, and in accordance with the requirements for water and sewer lines. The motion was seconded by Ella Hall and passed unanimously. The recommendation was prepared and presented to the City Council before leaving the meeting. The meeting was adjourned.
