06/28/1968-PZ-Minutes-RegularMinutes of Zoning and PLanning Commission of City of Sanger, Texas June 28, 1968 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Sanger City Council met in the Council Room of the City hall, June 28, 1968 at 7100 P.M. to consider the petition of Jimmy L. Kirby, requesting that the zoning classification of property described below be changed from "R-2" (Residential) to LB (Local Business). The said property is described as follows: South 134' of Block 97, bounded on East by 13th Street, on South by Bolivar Street, and on West by 35E, this being the property of the late J.F. Dawson. Present for the Public Hearing were Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hollings- worth, Mr. and Mrs. Waide Herd, John Sullivan, Mayor Fred John- son and Dick Ready; also Commission members Mrs. Neilan Cook, Mrs. Jack Hall, Alvin Brown, J.C. Landers and W.L. (Bill) Enlow; and Building Inspector Ross Anderson. Following the hearing, a motion was made by Mrs. Neilan Cook and seconded by Mrs. Jack Hall, that the Commission recommend to the City Council that they accept the petition of Jimmy Kirby.
