07/24/1971-PZ-Minutes-RegularMinutes of Meeting July 24th, 1971 of the Planning and Zoning Commission of Sanger, Texas The Sanger Planning Zoning Commission met Tuesday evening, July 24, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Room of the City Hall in Sanger. Present were Commission members Mmes. Neilan Cook and Jack Hall, Mr. Alvin Brown, J. C. Landers, and new member Tommy Chapman, replacing resigned member Archie Spratt. Also present was City Secretary Jim Sebastian. Under discussion was the rezoning of properties of Jesse Coffey, Cole Estate, Vic Cole, and Joe Wiggins. J. C. Landers made the motion that the rezoning of the Wiggins property to Multiple Family Dwelling, be tabled for further study. Mrs. Cock seconded the motion. After detailed study, Mrs. Jack Hall made the motion that the Commission ask the City Council for a public hearing for the proposed zoning changes listed below: LOCAL RETAIL DISTRICT: Eastside of I-35 Burgess Addition, Lot 106A; block 14, Lot 95; Block 15 Lot 95, 97, 100, 89, 88 & 87 Hughes Addition, BLOCK 3, LOT 2, Block 4, LOT 2; LOT 79-1 Bebee Survey, Ward and Stanford property - Boundaries: I-35 East 300, Deep (Between Wood & Church Streets). Cole Estate - Boundaries: I-35 - East 3001 Deep (Between Church & Austin Streets). LOCAL BUSINESS: Eastside of I-35 Tierwester Survey, Jesse Coffey property - Boundaries: I-35 East 380, deep (Between Austin Street & Loop U.S, 77 Business Dist.) LOCAL RETAIL DISTRICT: Westside of I-35 Tierwester Survey, Lot 91, 92 Lot 25 - Boundary I-35 W. 3001 Deep Lot 78A - Boundary I-35 W. 3001 Deep Lot 77 - Boundary I-35 W. 3001 Deep LOCAL BUSINESS: Westside I-35 Tierwester Survey - Lot 28, Boundary: I-35 W. 3001 Deep The motion was seconded by Tommy Chapman and carried unanimously.
