03/03/1970-PZ-Minutes-Regular MINUTES OF ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANGER, MARCH 3, 1970 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Sanger City Council met in the Council Room of the City Hall, March 3, 1970 (Tues- day) at 7:00 p.m. to consider the petition of Gene Hughes re- questing that the zoning classificationof property described below be changed from SINGLE DWELLING to MULTIPLE -FAMILY DWELLING. The said property is described as follows: Being part of Block 28 in the Tierwester Survey (property now in the name of J. Y. Johnson), bounded on the West by Tenth Street, on the South by Austin Street, and on the East by Walnut. Present for the public hearing were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Vaughan, Keith Cook, Mrs. Ray Reed, J. W. Bucklew, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jones; and Commission members Mrs. Neilan Cook, Mrs. Jack Hall, W. L. (Bill) Enlow, J. C. Landers and Chairman, Alvin Brown. Following the hearing, the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. After careful discussion of the peti- tion under consideration, the Commission members unanimously opposed said petition and recommended to the Sanger City Council that they reject Mr. Hughes' petition. The motion was made by Mrs. :.Hall and seconded by Mrs. Cook that the meeting be adjourned.
