MARCH 21, 1974
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Sanger met
Thursday evening, March 21, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Room of the Sanger City Hall to consider a principal tabled
motion regarding the petition by Mrs. Mac Cole requesting the
change in zoning classification of those portions of Tract 77E
of the H. Tierwester survey which are presently zoned Single -
Family Dwelling District (R-1) to Multi-Family Dwelling District
(R-3).
All members of the Commission were present with the exception
of J. C. Landers. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Frizzell,
John Coker, Wendell Thomas, George Snider, Jack Armstrong,
Ms. Mac Cole, and City Administrator Dd.ve Marr.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
After a lengthy discussion, Mrs. Cook made a subsidiary motion
that the Commission members act upon the March 7 question; the m
motion was seconded by Bruce Anthony. The tabled motion was
lost by a vote of three (3) noes to one (1) yes.
City Administrator Dave Marr discussed the proper handling by
the Planning and Zoning Commission of submitted plats.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. with a motion by Daisy
Cook, seconded by Bruce Anthony.
